Day 19: undisclosed location in Helena National Forest to Helena

I got lost so it was a bad mood, no photo day. So as to not leave the day empty, here’s a gratuitous shot of a dog named Buddy. Awwwwww….

  1. Sitting in a random (and otherwise empty) hotel bar at midnight when working away from home is rarely very inspiring but a quick flick through Facebook and discovery of your blog has been most enlightening and entertaining. Enlightertaining, one might say (feel free to use that any time you like – the Shiraz thought of it; I take no credit). Will now be checking your progress on a regular basis (and will tell Mrs M all about it when I get back)!!

  2. I hope Buddy has not replaced Wooleye for your affection.
Not sure why you said the photos of the gullies did not do it justice – they make it look horrific! How do you cycle such sections? This week on my daily cycle commute between Barnet and Colindale I have seen a few slugs, a fox, and a dead pigeon – do i win? Loving your blog.

    • A slug?!! You win! Didn’t cycle that – only know one guy that did and he’s half the stuff I do. I took a more leisurely walking pace to take in the scenery. Hope all’s well with you guys!
